Jared and Mahandari
The next two settlements on the main road of Naran are jared and Mahandri. Jared used to be famous because of its furniture and handicrafts of walnut wood. The NWFP government operates a handicrafts development centre here. Some private shops also sell traditional style.
Payee Lake is situated in centre of meadow in Payee, near Shogran in Kaghan Valley, Pakistan. It is located at the height of almost 9500 feet (2895 meters). It is surrounded by Makra Peak, Malika Parbat, Moosa da Musalla and the mountains of Kashmir.
Daral lake is situated to the northeast of Sidgai Lake and can be accessed through Saidgai after two three hours of rigorous trekking. The trail to Daral is full of fun and amusement because it runs over sky touching heights of the mountains, providing spectacular sights.
Just a little distance from Mahanderi is the Khanian. Khanian is a small but attractive, peaceful village on the right bank of the Kunhar. It is the starting point for a trip to Kamal Ban Forest and Danna Meadows Khanian is a small but attractive, peaceful village.
Siri Lake is situated near Shogran in Siri, on the way to Payee in Kaghan Valley, Pakistan. It is located at the height of almost 8500 feet (2590 meters). Siri lake is like a pond and itself isn’t very attractive. But the green forest and mountains standing along.

Saif ul Malook Lake
Lake Saif ul Malook is a famous tourist resort, well known for the associated story of a Persian prince Saif ul Malook. It is located about 8 kilometers (5 miles) north from the town of Naran in northern end of Kaghan Valley, in District Mansehra, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
A wonderful excursion from Shogran is a visit to Sari and Paya. A rugged eight kilometer road climbs 230 feet through thick pine forest to the top of Paya ride, a lush green meadow with spectacular view of malika Parbat. One can also see varieties of wild alpine flowers.
